Feeling good about your sexuality, sexual expression, sexual identity, and gender identity helps you feel balanced and connected to yourself. Healthy sexuality also allows deeper connection with others. If you feel disconnected from your sexuality, you may experience distress or anxiety.
I am here to help. Together, we will explore and evaluate physical, emotional, and psychological factors that might be affecting you sexually. Steps toward improvement may include:
- Taking a sex and health history
- Understanding and processing past traumas, including childhood sexual abuse
- Bringing awareness to internal narratives and how they affect you
- Examining negative patterns of interaction in your relationships
Based on your history, we will create an action plan that may include individual or relational homework. This process can be intense, but many clients report feeling more authentically connected to themselves and closer to their partners by the end.
