Seeing a therapist takes courage and you’ve taken the first step towards a life of personal empowerment, authenticity, and increased connection and intimacy in your relationships. I’m thrilled you are here and I look forward to meeting you and starting our journey together!
Step 1: Reach Out
This can feel easier said then done so I’ve tried to make the process as easy and flexible as possible. The first step is reach out – you can fill out the form on the Contact page, or give me a call at (720) 336-9220. You can also send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your message is very important to me. If I am not in session, I will answer the phone or respond to your email right away. If you don’t reach me by phone, leave a message on my confidential voicemail. Regardless of the method of contact, I will get back to you within 1 business day.
Step Two: Let’s Chat
I understand that finding a therapist who feels like a good fit is an important part of your journey. Let’s set a time for an in-person or phone conversation so I can learn more about your therapy goals and how I can help. I am also happy to answer any questions you might have about me or therapy in general during this time.
Step Three: Schedule a Session & Fill Out Paperwork
If you decide to move forward after we’ve had a chance to connect, we will schedule your first session. I will send you a link to my online paperwork, which can be reviewed, filled out and signed online. You won’t have to print out forms and remember to bring them to our first meeting. Easy!
Step Four: The First Session
Our first session together will be focused on learning more about you, your concerns and your goals for our work together. We will explore what brings you in, where you want to be and what our work together will look like. After the first session clients usually report feeling some relief in just getting started.
